Cirque Du Freak Movie

Based on The Saga of Darren Shan by Darren Shan. . .

I haven't read these books and i don't think i saw any of the books in our local bookstores... might be in BookSale.. gotta check it out...

Welcome to the Cirque Du Freak, a traveling sideshow filled with magical creatures, misunderstood freaks, and the mysterious vampire, Larten Crepsley (John C. Reilly). Drawn to the dark, unpredictable world of the Cirque, 16-year-old Darren (Chris Massoglia) decides to trade in his ordinary life for a chance to become an immortal vampire. As Darren explores his newfound powers and faces unexpected enemies, he’ll find that his existence as a member of the undead is filled with more challenges, suspense and fun than he ever thought possible. Based on the best-selling book series and co-starring Salma Hayek, Josh Hutcherson, Ken Watanabe, and Willem Dafoe, it’s a fast-paced, suspenseful journey critics call, "Imaginative!" True Blood Season 2 TV Series

★ ★ ★ ★ ☆

Based on Living Dead in Dallas

I like season 2 better than season 1 - giving it 4.5 stars. Alan Ball added the story of Bill and Lorena - Bill's maker. I heard in Season 3, there will be a story of Bill's life before he became vampire which was not in the book. That would be cool!

Cocktail waitree Sookie Stackhouse is on a streak of bad luck. First, her coworker is murdered and no one seems to care. Then she’s face-to-face with a beastly creature that gives her a painful and poisonous lashing. Enter the vampires, who graciously suck the poison from her veins (like they didn’t enjoy it).

Point is, they saved her life. So when one of the blood-suckers asks for a favor, she complies. And soon, Sookie’s in Dallas using her telepathic skills to search for a missing vampire. She’s supposed to interview certain humans involved. There’s just one condition: The vampires must promise to behave – and let the humans go unharmed. Easier said than done. All it takes is one delicious blonde and one small mistake for things to turn deadly….

True Blood Season 1 TV Series

★ ★ ★ ★ ☆

Based on Dead Until Dark

Sookie Stackhouse is a small-time cocktail waitress in small-town Louisiana. She’s quiet, keeps to herself, and doesn’t get out much. Not because she’s not pretty. She is. It’s just that, well, Sookie has this sort of “disability”. She can read minds. And that doesn’t make her too dateable. And then along comes Bill. He’s tall, dark, handsome–and Sookie can’t hear a word he’s thinking. He’s exactly the type of guy she’s been waiting for all her life . . . But Bill has a disability of his own: He’s a vampire with a bad reputation. He hands with a seriously creepy crowd, all suspected of–big surprise–murder. And when one of Sookie’s coworkers is killed, she fears she’s next . . .

Lunatic Cafe by Laurell K. Hamilton

★ ★ ★ ★ ☆

Anita Blake Series Book 4

I think I'm falling for Jean-Claude . . . haha. I love the love triangle thing with Jean-Claude and Richard.. so far the funniest installment of the series. So i'm giving this book 4.5 stars!

You get two preternatural experts in one with Anita Blake, animator and vampire slayer. She's one of the good guys in a world full of bad things. A world that Laurell K. Hamilton makes spin in her New York Times bestselling novels.

Now, Anita has fallen for the leader of a local pack of werewolves. She's survived a lot, but this love thing may kill her yet...
